One challenge with traditional online coding education is that you get a lot of students who aren't on the same page skillwise. This slows the learning process way down.

That's why we focus on helping early-mid career coders who have industry experience (or who are just on the cusp of their first job).

BROUGHT TO YOU BY

What experience is required? Boost courses are designed for existing software developers to learn advanced skills around specific areas of expertise as a part of their continuing education. The courses are optimally designed for those with commercial development experience that may have graduated from a code school or computer science program.
Who is the typical applicant? Students interested in the courses want to further their technical education in specific areas to enhance their skills and value in the marketplace as well as their current job. Students also possess innate curiosity to continue to hone their skills in a constantly changing, dynamic and growing industry.
How do I begin? The application process will literally take 5 minutes or less. The application is to get to know you better so we can ensure the course meets your needs. The application will ask about your professional background, experience level, education level and your motivation for taking the course(s). Once we review your application we will either ask a few additional questions or accept you into the course. Once accepted students simply pay for the course and complete a student agreement.
What is my time commitment? Our typical course is four weeks long and consists of two evening classes per week. Our evening classes are 90 minutes long. Classes are recorded in case you are not able to attend them live. You can expect four to six hours per week outside of class for work on prepping for the next class and/or working on focused projects.
Are there any prerequisites? The courses may require prerequisites to ensure you are ready to hit the ground running on the 1st day. If additional preparation is required before taking the course we will provide a few resources as suggestions to ensure each student is ready to get the most out of the instruction.
Will I receive a certificate? Yes, students that have successfully completed a minimum of 80% of the assigned exercises and projects will receive a certificate of completion.
Can my employer pay for the course? Yes. If your employer reimburses for education or professional development, we will make it easy for them to reimburse your participation in our courses.
